Information
Late submission of absence justifications, vacation requests, and service exemptions has put timely salary processing at risk. Please make every effort to submit justifications as soon as possible, preferably in the days immediately following the absence.
The distribution of these forms is intended solely to guide and assist with the requested procedures. Their use is not mandatory and should be adapted whenever necessary.

- If, in seeking treatment for damages resulting from a workplace accident, the employee chooses to use private healthcare services, reimbursement will only be made up to the amount the service would have cost under the National Health Service (SNS).
- Expense documents must be issued in the name and tax identification number (NIF) of the employee in order to be eligible for reimbursement. The original documents must be submitted to the HR Department’s Customer Service, together with the corresponding medical prescriptions justifying the treatment.
- Expenses resulting from workplace accidents or occupational illnesses are not covered by ADSE. As such, IST cannot receive or reimburse these costs.
